The Faces of Cuba

Once I arrived in the States, I began to reflect on my experience in Cuba. One huge observation I made was the amount of diversity in the neighborhoods and work fields.  Every neighborhood consisted of homes made up of a range of people and there wasn’t one job that consisted of more people of a single race. This is extremely opposite from what I’ve observed and experienced in the States. Is a Communist government (everyone is equal) the answer to eliminating systematic racism?
